Coffee is one of the most widely consumed drinks in the world. Previous observation studies have shown that there is a correlation between coffee intake and reducing chronic disease risks and risk of death, but past research does not distinguish coffee with sugar -free coffee and sugar/artificial sweetener.

Relying on the National Health and Medical Big Data Research Institute's supercomputing platform, Mao Chen's team carried out a forward -looking research based on the large -scale queue of 500,000 people, which aims to evaluate drinking sugar, artificial sweeteners and coffee without sugar. The relationship between the mortality and specific causes of mortality.

In this research work, the researchers were included in the 171,616 base lines (55.6 years of age) without cardiovascular disease or cancer. During the average 7 -year follow -up, they found that drinking without sugar coffee and sugar coffee and all cause death and death Both rates are associated with U -shaped associations.

Studies have shown that compared with participants who do not drink coffee, they drink 0 ~ 1.5 cups, 1.5 ~ 2.5 cups, 2.5 ~ 3.5 cups, 3.5 ~ 4.5 cups, and & 4.5 cups of coffee. 21%, 16%, 29%, 29%, and 23%. Studies have confirmed that the risk of drinking coffee and cancer and cardiovascular disease is basically the same as the risk of death. Drinking and artificial sweetener coffee has nothing to do with the risk of death. Drinking quick -soluble coffee, grinding coffee and caffeine -free coffee is also observed with similar U -shaped associations.

The study found that the appropriate amount of drinking without sugar and sugar coffee are related to lower risk of death. Therefore, clinicians and public health doctors do not need to eliminate coffee from their diet when they guide cardiovascular disease and cancer patients, but they should still be cautious about the dosage of sugar.
