Xiong Qingquan, the former secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, died at the age of 95

Comrade Xiong Qingquan, the former Secretary of the Communist Party of China, and the former secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and died at 0:32 on June 20, 2022 at 0:32 on June 20, 2022 at the age of 95.

At 9 am on June 24, 2022 (Friday), a maternal farewell ceremony was held in the Mingde Hall of the Mingyang Mountain Funeral Hall in Changsha City. Participants who attend the farewell ceremony need to issue a 24 -hour kernel test negative certificate.

According to the Changsha Evening News, Xiong Qingquan was born in a peasant family in Xingzipu Town, Shuangfeng County, Shuangfeng County, Hunan. He studied at the Department of Shi and Earth (later merged with Hunan University) at the National Normal University. In November 1948, he participated in the revolutionary organization "Fangsheng Society" led by the underground party of the Communist Party of China. He was engaged in progressive student movements.

Xiong Qingquan has served as deputy secretary of the Xiangtan District Committee of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Chenzhou Local Party Committee, Second Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Hunan Province, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and member of the Standing Committee of the 8th National People's Congress. He is a member of the 12th and 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
