In the Jiangjin section of Chongqing in the Yangtze River, Liu Hong, 50, took the sporadic autumn rain and drove the fishing boat to patrol the wide river surface to check out whether there were illegal fishing people.
Liu Hong was once a fisherman and is now the captain of the Hongzhang Fisheries Volunteer Team of Jiangjin District, Chongqing. Most of the 11 members of the team were fishermen, and now they have guarded the rare and unique national nature reserve of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
The Yangtze River, the mother of the Chinese nation. From the role of fishermen to the role of fishermen, fishermen reflect the determination of Chongqing to protect the ecological environment of the Yangtze River.
In the past 10 years, Chongqing has continuously increased its efforts to protect the Yangtze River fish, controlled environmental pollution, explored the road of "ecological priority, green development", and continued to build important ecological barriers on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
Returning from fish
Take Liu Hong's fishing boat on the surface of the river, and from time to time, you can see the fish roaming in the water. Near the river beaches near the shore, a group of egrets and wild ducks foraged leisurely.
"Now illegal fishing is much less than a few years ago. Sometimes you can see the fish jumping out of the water, and you can also see the rare birds such as Chinese autumn sand ducks, red mouth gulls, etc." Liu Hong said.

In Liu Hong's memory, around 2000, there are more people who illegally electric fish, and there are fewer and fewer fish in the river. Some fishermen even have less than 1 kg of fish for several days.
Eight years ago, with the support of the government, Liu Hong formed this folk fishing volunteer team to fight for wisdom with criminals and had assisted more than a thousand illegal fishing cases along the river.
Starting from January 1, 2021, the Yangtze River implemented a "ten -year -old fishing". Chongqing has established a long -term management mechanism for the ban, building a grid -based management system, and law enforcement cooperation in the provincial interstate -border waters to achieve comprehensive coverage. Relevant departments at all levels have cooperated closely to carry out a series of special actions such as the clean -up and high -hair removal of high -incidence water areas and illegal fishing in the border of provinces.
Data show that since the "ten -year -old fishing forbidden fishing" in the Yangtze River, Chongqing has promoted more than 5,300 fishing boats and more than 10,000 fishermen to withdraw the arrest and go ashore. Essence

Today, more and more fish are back. The scientific research team of the School of Aquatic Products of Southwest University has conducted more than 10 years of continuous monitoring of the rare and unique fish national nature reserves upstream of the Yangtze River, showing that the Yangtze River fish resources have been significantly restored.
Monitoring data shows that the increase in fishing and fishing for the total number of single ships used to evaluate the total number of fish resources reached more than 300%; the number of types of fishing acquisitions also increased significantly, and rare species such as Yangtze River, Rockhara, and rouge fish were fishing objects. The frequency of emergence in the middle has been increased from the "scarcity" level to the "occasional" or "common" level.
Fist fisting
Yunyun Mountain, a rare national natural reserve in the central urban area of the Great City, is known as the "green lung" of Chongqing's main urban area. In the past, some villagers once "relying on the mountains and eating mountains", the farmhouse developed extensively, and continued to "eat" ecology.
In June 2018, Chongqing launched the comprehensive rectification of the Ecological Environment of the Yunyun Mountain Reserve, demolished more than 600,000 square meters of illegal buildings, mobilized 520 villagers to relocate to the protected area, and re -cultivated more than 400,000 square meters.

Today's Yunyun Mountain, the green mountains are like Dai, the birds are fragrant, the "green lung" function is restored, and the villagers have become beneficiaries.
"In the past, the farmhouse was generally unobstructed, but because of the low grade and poor environment, the business became more and more difficult to do." Qian Gang, the secretary of the Party branch of Berlin Village, Chengjiang Town under the Yunshan Mountain, said that now the village will be connected to the small ponds in the village. Create into ecological lakes and focus on the development of camping economy. Every long vacation can come to more than 600 private cars a day.
The changes in the appearance of Yunyun Mountain are behind Chongqing's firm determination to control pollution. At present, Chongqing has fully completed the renovation of open -air mines within 10 kilometers of the Yangtze River dry flow and main tributaries. It depends and strictly observes the ecological protection of 20,400 square kilometers, accounting for 24.82%of the city's land area ...
In terms of water environment, the overall water quality of the Chongqing section of the Yangtze River has remained excellent. The excellent proportion of 74 countries' assessment sections of the section is 98.6%, which is 1.3 percentage points higher than the national assessment target. In 2021, the proportion of water quality of the surface water Ⅰ-Ⅲ in Chongqing City was 95%, an increase of 11.1 percentage points from 2017.

In terms of atmospheric environment, since 2018, Chongqing's severe and above the number of pollution days is zero. In 2021, the city's excellent air quality days were 326 days, an increase of 23 days from 2017.
In terms of soil environmental conditions, in 2021, the safety utilization rate of polluting cultivated land in the city was 99.17%, and the safety utilization rate of key construction land was 100%. In addition, the city's forest coverage rate reached 54.5%, an increase of 8.2 percentage points from 2017.
Green transformation
Bathing in the sun in early autumn, the bamboo forests on the Guangyang Island of Chongqing and the egrets are flying. This is the largest Jiangxin Island on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
Around 2010, the island with an area of about 10 square kilometers in the dry period was planned to be planned for more than 3 million square meters of real estate development volume.
Chongqing abandoned the development thinking of "big development" and determined to protect the green center of the Yangtze River Center. In 2019, the overall plan of the new Guangyang Island area was officially released. At present, the second phase of the ecological restoration of the main project has been completed. Guangyang Island has successfully selected a typical case of ecological restoration of the Fifteenth Party Conference of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity.
A scroll of a harmonious coexistence with nature is unfolding slowly. Today, the vegetation coverage rate of Guangyang Island has reached more than 90%. The island records the increase of 383 species before ecological restoration to the current 594 species, and 20 new records of birds are added, becoming a veritable ecological green island.

Guangyang Island is also giving back to the people who protect it. The beautiful ecological environment attracts talents, funds, and technology to accelerate the gathering. On both sides of the Yangtze River on the north and south of Guangyang Island, the "Guangyang Bay Zhichuang Ecological City" of green industries such as big data and health is rising.
As a former heavy industry base, Chongqing is on the new road of "ecological priority, green development".
Chongqing is implementing the innovation -driven development strategy led by big data intelligence. It has implemented more than 4,800 intelligent transformation projects, and more than 730 digital workshops and more than 120 smart factories have been established. 1704 digital economy core industries on the gathering regulations ...
Statistics show that the added value of the digital economy in Chongqing accounted for 27.2%of GDP, and the contribution rate of intelligent transformation companies to the growth of industrial output value reached 73%; the energy consumption of the GDP of the unit area decreased by 16.1%in five years, and the green industry accounted for the total industry. The proportion of output value reaches 20%. (Video reporter: Yang Shiyan)
