Mr. Zhou began to donate blood in 2017, and joined the Chinese bone marrow database in April 2018, becoming a volunteer of the Chinese hematopoietic stem cell donor database. In June of this year, he matched with a child with leukemia. After receiving the staff's inquiry, he agreed without hesitation, and his family also supported him to donate hematopoietic stem cells.

On August 27, Mr. Zhou came to the hospital to start a moving agent. On September 1, he successfully completed the donation and became the 535th hematopoietic stem cell donor in Hubei Province.

It is understood that Mr. Zhou is from Jingzhou and is currently working in Ezhou. On September 5th, the company where Mr. Zhou was located also issued a document to commend Mr. Zhou, saying that he "let the patient's family see the hope of the future and the warmth of the world", and reward him for 2,000 yuan, and call on the employees to learn from him.

The editor learned from the Jingzhou Red Cross that since this year, Jingzhou has completed 6 cases of hematopoietic stem cells. From August to the present, 3 cases have been completed (1 case of Mr. Zhou in the previous article is Ezhou because of the resident site, which is not counted).
