Recently, during the 2022 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day Lanzhou home -city activities, the State Administration of Cultural Relics reported and praised the special survey of 50 advanced units and 156 outstanding individuals in the nation's grotto temples. In the title of unit, Comrade Li Xin, the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, was awarded the title of "Excellent Personal Investigation of Special Survey in the National Grottoes Temple".

In order to implement the "Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Strengthening the Protection and Demonstration of Grottoes", and to find out the city's grotto temple cultural relics and resources, the city has carried out special specialty in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Culture and Tourism Department in December 2020. investigation. In this survey, the working group lasted 3 months before and after, overcoming the actual difficulties such as large tasks, wide distribution, remote and difficult to do. A field investigation and verification were conducted one by one. During the survey, due to the rapid startup and fruitful results, our city showed a good spiritual style and excellent work style. It has been highly affirmed by the high level of cultural relics department.

According to the survey, there are 60 caves temples and stone carvings in the city, including 44 cave temples (3 newly added) and 16 stone carvings (5 new places). Through this special survey, the basic situation, protection status and existing problems of the cave temple and stone carvings of the city's cities, and it is of great significance to further strengthen the management of cave temples and stone carvings.
