Recently, connecting Jianchuan Road and Zhangjia Road, the main project of Beiyuan Tianqiao, located outside the three gates of Jiaotong University was completed. The new bridge from the north to the north and the north to Nanyang Beiyuan is about 119 meters in length. After the completion of the overpass, there will be a great convenient traffic between the Minhang Campus and the Nanyang Beiyuan.

Beiyuan Tianqiao is arranged in the shape of a "L" shape. The bridge deck is 4 meters wide. The main beam on the upper structure of the overpass is arranged by 2 cross -continuous steel plate beams+3 cross -continuous steel box beams+1 span simplified steel plate beams. The construction of auxiliary projects such as subsequent bridges railings, lighting photos, anti -slip paving layers, surrounding greening, and auxiliary roads will be launched soon. It is expected that by the end of September, Beiyuan Tianqiao will be officially completed.

It is reported that Nanyang Beiyuan was completed in July 2020 and opened in September with a construction area of about 80,000 square meters, including 431 teachers' apartments and 1,000 student apartment beds. At present, international student dormitory, single apartment, teacher's family apartment, and expert apartment have been staying. About 800 teachers and students go to Nanyang Beiyuan and Minhang Campus daily.
