I am Li Junsheng, a surgeon at the Fourth Hospital of Inner Mongolia. Now, I am in Rwanda as the 22nd batch of deputy captains of Lu's medical team to perform medical tasks. This has passed 15 years since I first joined China (Inner Mongolia) in August 2007, and it is also my sixth foreign medical journey. I have worked for a total of 9 years in Massacher Hospital and Basic Ge Hospital in Rwanda. I am the Chinese medical team with the most batch and the longest service time. Here, I tried to overcome various difficulties such as language barriers, rude facilities, and new crown pneumonia. A total of more than 12,000 patients were diagnosed and more than 2,000 cases were completed. Local personnel cordially called me "African Good Friends".

In May 2008, a female patient was treated in the Surgical Surgery of Basic Ge Hospital. After examination and diagnosis of huge abdominal tumors, surgery was needed. On the one hand, the hospital did not have a caesarean section to detect surgical equipment, and on the other hand, such surgery had never been performed, and difficulties could be imagined. While coordinating the hospital, I prepare for the equipment required for surgery; prepare for patients on the while to reduce the risk of surgery and ensure safety. After a week of preparation, the surgery was successfully performed, which lasted about 2.5 hours. The huge tumor of the patient's abdominal cavity was completely removed. The surgery filled the hospital's technical gap.

In August 2011, the Massacher Hospital assisted by the Chinese government began operations. Due to the shortage of manpower, the Chinese medical team arrived at the hospital immediately after arriving at Rwanda. We actively communicated with the hospital, starting from scratch, established a surgical ward, and established and standardized the outpatient system, inspection system, surgery day system, perioperative management system, and discharge review system; Anesthesia and surgical consent systems, regulate the postoperative care system. What impressed me the most was the lavid peritoneal fibroma resection of a lone orphans. The patient was 18 years old at the time and had been visited in a number of local hospitals for 3 years. However, because the tumor was close to the lower cavity vein, the surgical risk was too high, and he could not be treated. I heard that the Massache Hospital came to a Chinese doctor, and he decided to try it. After the consultation, I considered it again and again, and finally decided to perform surgery for him. After careful preparation, my main knife, with the joint participation of other doctors in the Chinese medical team and Massacher Hospital, after more than 3 hours of careful operation, the tumor body and the lower cavity vein were separated to completely remove the fibroma. The success of the operation not only made the level of surgical technology of Massacher Hospital achieve leapfrog development, but also allowed Chinese medical teams to be recognized by more local people.

In 2020, the epidemic of the new crown pneumonia raging the world, and Rwanda failed to be spared. In the absence of epidemic prevention supplies, the team members and I continued to adhere to the clinical line of the aid hospital, and to protect the health of the local people with the surgeon of Basic Ge Hospital. During the epidemic, we not only provided strong technical guarantees and support for local doctors, insisted on relieve pain for patients, but also actively teach local students to teach people to fish. At the same time, actively share the successful experience and diagnosis and treatment plan of China's resistance, and assist in the embassy in Lu to do a good job of preventing and controlling the epidemic prevention and control of Chinese enterprises and Chinese overseas Chinese, and provide medical consultation and diagnosis and treatment suggestions.
