The container terminal project, No. 6 to 10 of Meishan Port District, which started construction in December 2015, is currently the highest domestic container terminal project with the highest design grade. The project has newly built 2 200,000 tons and 3 150,000 tons of container berths. The total length of the line is 2150 meters, and the design passing capacity is 4.3 million standard box.

The No. 10 berths built this time, as the last "puzzle" of Meishan Port District, will be composed of No. 1 to 9 berths that have been completed in the early stage, and together form a complete large container deep -water berth group in Meishan Port District.

It is estimated that after the comprehensive production of the container terminal 6 to 10, the annual container through the Meishan Port District will exceed 10 million standard boxes. Single container terminal was born.

Wang Jun, Director of the Engineering Office of the Ningbo Port and Airlines Management Center, said that the completion of Meishan Port District will accelerate the release of large -scale berth production capacity and greatly improve the structural tension of the large container berth in Ningbo Zhoushan Port. According to the relevant plan, Ningbo Zhoushan Port will build five millions of millions of container berths. Among them, Ningbo will build three millions of millions of container berths in mountain port area, Meishan, and Beilun (Daxie). Earlier, the first tens of millions of container berths in Zhoushan Port in Ningbo, the container pier of the Shangang area, was fully completed in 2021, with 11 berths, becoming the world's second largest monomer container terminal.

Meishan Port District is the main growth point of Ningbo Zhoushan Port container business. In 2021, the container throughput of 10.87 million standard boxes and 6.68 million standard boxes were completed respectively, accounting for 35%and 21%of the annual container throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan Port, respectively, respectively.

During the construction of Ningbo Port, the Ningbo Transport Port and Airlines Department established the Water Transport Engineering Service Pioneer Team to promote the construction of quality engineering and standardized construction sites with high standards with participating units in the project, and promote the solution of project policy treatment, epidemic prevention and control and other problems. , High -quality development and completion (delivery) inspection acceptance through stages.
