At the current difficult time to fight the epidemic, we express our sincere gratitude to the sympathy, understanding and support to the people of other countries to China.

At that time, the person who posted this sentence on the material box supporting Wuhan was Lin Longshu, a director of the Japanese Youth for Breeding Association and the Chinese Level Examination (HSK) Affairs Bureau. In July 2022, Lin Longshu recalled the experience again after more than two years: "I like Chinese culture very much, but the verses on the carton cause strong response completely."

This year is the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China -Japan diplomatic relations. Lin Longshu, who is committed to the Japanese Chinese level exam for many years, introduced that Japanese candidates who participated in the HSK Chinese level test increased from 2303 in 1999 to 39,219 in 2021. Lin Longshu: The literal meaning of "mountains and rivers, windy moon in the same day" is that although the mountains and rivers are in different places, Fengyue is under the same sky. The verses on the carton cause strong response completely outside me. At first I knew that this sentence was from the novel "The Land of Backens" in Jing Shangjing. It talked about the things that Jian Zhen did not leave to work hard to cross Japan. Vocabulary has always remembered this sentence. This sentence made many people remember the beautiful history of about 1300 years ago, and I was very happy.

The year before the epidemic occurred in Wuhan, HSK held a Chinese study exhibition. At that time, about 30 Chinese universities participated in the exhibition, including Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan. After knowing that there was an epidemic, HSK conveyed the willingness to donate masks through the teachers of these schools, and later had the words on the carton. Surging News: Do you like Chinese culture? In addition to the "mountains and rivers, wind and moon", what other Chinese verses make you impressed?

Lin Longshu: I have always liked Chinese culture very much. From the beginning of reading "Journey to the West" when I was a child, to "Water Margin", I also read the "Three Kingdoms" that Volkswagen in Japan. Later, when I was in middle school, I became interested in ancient poems. At that time, the poetry I contacted was the "Guang Ling of the Yellow Crane Tower Sending Meng Haoran" by the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai. Fan Yuanying is full of emptiness, only seeing the flow of the Yangtze River. " At that time, I wanted to have such a gorgeous sentence. Since then, I have loved ancient poems very much. My college major is philosophy. During this period, I learned the Analects of Confucius and Zhuangzi.

Surging news: Can you talk about your work now between China and Japan?

Lin Longshu: My job is international exchanges. I like China very much. China also has many friends who like Japan. Although there will be historical problems and territorial issues between the country, there may be various problems, but international exchanges are personal experience after all. I have been to China in the short term. Before I went to China, I felt that there may be many Chinese who did not like Japan at the beginning, but after the actual meeting, my personal experience was that the Chinese were very kind to me. Therefore, I want more and more people with this sense of experience. I think this is the international exchange work I want to do. Efforts to allow more people to experience the intimacy between the people between the two countries through international exchanges.

Surging News: What does the historical node of the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China -Japan diplomatic relations mean to you?

Lin Longshu: I am 66 years old, 50 years ago (when China -Japan diplomatic relations were normal) I was already a high school student. Therefore, I really remember the scene where Prime Minister Tanaka was shaking hands with Chinese leaders at that time. At that time, I was quite looking forward to the relationship between China in the future and the source of Japanese culture. At present, young people in China and Japan have all kinds of things, Chinese songs and dances, Japanese animation, etc. These are very meaningful and happy things. Of course, I also know that these are also very difficult due to the existence of historical factors. Those close to ordinary people (elements), such as animation, movies, etc., are very useful in international exchanges and can improve Sino -Japanese relations, so I look forward to this. In 1999, there were 2,303 candidates participating in the HSK Chinese level test; in 2021, nearly 40,000 people took the test, and it turned 17 times in 22 years. I think this has a lot to do with China's economic development. When I was a college student, the trend of popularity in the university was boys to learn German and girls learn French. Today, many Japanese college students are learning Chinese. I think this has a certain relationship with the continuous development of the Chinese economy and the distance between the two countries.
