On September 8th, Zhangping Forest Farm, Zhangping, Fujian Province invited Lu Yuwan, Director of the Greening Office of the Longyan Forestry Bureau, and Wei Limin, the greening center of Zhangping City, went to the co -construction practice station in Lingdou Village, Chishui Town, to guide the protection of camphor trees.

There are more than 80 century -old camphor trees on both sides of the river in Lingdao Village, Chishui Town. In recent years, some camphor tree trunks have fallen off. Wei Limin, Pingshi Greening Center, guide how to better protect the ancient camphor trees on the spot.

Director Lu Yuwan conducted on -site surveys of the ancient camphor trees, and carefully observed and analyzed the deadly trees. It was pointed out that the cause of the camphor tree was mainly caused by the water canal and poor drainage beside the tree. Director Lu suggested that in response to the water accumulation, Lingdu Village should increase the drainage pipeline, do a good job in ditch and drainage in time, and strictly prevent the roots of water storage. Make the camphor grow normally; for the camphor trees with naked root systems, the roots of the tree should be covered with soil to keep the root water.
