In 2020, the enterprise sintering flue gas desulfurization and denitration project was put into operation, and the air quality of the factory area was further improved. Grapes were planted at that time.

As the largest steel company in Tianjin, more than 220 new energy -saving environmental protection projects in Xintian Steel Group have a total investment of 8 billion yuan. The enterprise actively adjusted the energy structure. The photovoltaic power generation capacity of the plant has reached 45.7MW (MW), and the annual reduction of carbon dioxide emissions was about 39,000 tons. At the same time, Xintian Steel Group Tiangang Company uses railway transportation to replace road transportation to reduce carbon emissions brought by large cargo transportation.

The steel industry is a large water household, and the drainage system of the original factory area of ​​the enterprise is the combination of rain and stains, which is not conducive to the quality control of water resources. After the transformation, the enterprise built the three major systems: the collection of wastewater, the improvement of water treatment capacity, and the rainwater flood prevention guarantee. Rainwater and sewage were “their own way”.

The environment has improved, and the steel factory has transformed into a "ecological park", and chickens, geese, peacocks, and goats raised by employees live leisurely in the garden green space. This year, with the acceptance and evaluation of Tianjin Cultural and Tourism Bureau, the two scenic spots of Xintian Steel Group Tiansteel and United Special Steel Company officially became a 3A -level scenic spot and opened to the public.
