——The origin of the titles of Yimeng Mountain District

Yimeng was the area where Yiyuan Ape people survived 45 million years ago. It is the core distribution area of ​​Dongyi culture, one of the origin of ancient culture of the Chinese nation, and the main distribution of vassal states such as Lu State in the Spring and Autumn Period. In the Revolutionary War, this is a well -known red base in the country.

There are two high mountains in the south of Shandong Province, namely the Mengshan Turtle Mengding (located in Linyi City) at an altitude of 1156 meters (located in Linyi City) and the Yishan Jade Emperor of Yishan Jade (at the junction of Weifang, Linyi, Zibo), each of the two mountains. The name of Yimengshan District originated in May 1938. Yimeng Mountains are 800 miles in the mountains and hills. The geographical location is very important. In the east to Lianyungang and Rizhao; to Jining, Zaozhuang in the west; to Lizhou and Xinyi in the south; north to Tai'an, Zibo, Weifang.

Yimeng Mountains are rich in humanities and have a long history. They are the birthplace of the Huaxia nation's Dongyi culture.
