The prosperity index of Shanxi logistics industry in August was 53.9%

According to the data released by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology today, in August, the logistics industry prosperity index of our province was 53.9%, an increase of 2.0 percentage points from the previous month, 7.6 percentage points higher than the national logistics industry prosperity index (46.3%). The delivery volume of railway cargo in the province has continued to grow steadily, and the transportation of large -scale cargo roads such as coal coke has grown steadily.

The new order index rises, and the demand for logistics is increasing. In August, the total business index was 53.9%, an increase of 2.0 percentage points from the previous month; the new order index rose 6.5 percentage points from the previous month to 55.6%. Reflecting the demand for logistics shows an upward trend, and logistics activities are more active.

The average inventory index fell, and the number of inventory weeks rose. In August, the average inventory index fell 4.8 percentage points from the previous month to 49.1%; the number of inventory weeks increased by 2.5 percentage points from the previous month to 56.5%. It reflects that upstream companies are in the stage of destocking, and the number of inventory weeks increases.

The equipment utilization index rebounded. In August, the equipment utilization index rose 3.6 percentage points to 53.6%. It was located in a higher prosperity range, showing that the demand for logistics increased and the utilization rate of logistics equipment increased.

From the later trend, the new order index is 55.6%, and the business activities expectation index is 54.3%. It runs in a higher prosperity range, indicating that the logistics industry will maintain a stable trend. Affected by festival factors, the production of production enterprises related to people's livelihood will increase, and social logistics business activities in the province will be further picked up.
