Zhang Guangjun, deputy minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, presided over the 13th meeting of the China -Greek Science and Technology Cooperation Committee

On September 6, Zhang Guangjun, deputy minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Development and Investment, Jimas, hosted a video of "celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China -Greek Jianjian Communication -the 13th meeting of the China -Xi Science and Technology Cooperation Commission".

Deputy Minister Zhang Guangjun pointed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Xi, and it is of special significance to hold the Science and Technology Cooperation Commission. Greece is an important scientific and technological innovation partner in China. Over the years, scientific research institutions and researchers of the two countries have established good cooperative relationships through exchanges. Facing the future, the two sides should continue to work together, learn from each other, deepen cooperation, and make common contributions to the realization of the well -being and development of all human beings.

Deputy Minister Jimas said that scientific and technological cooperation is an important pillar of relations between the two countries. As a partner of equality and mutual benefit, the two sides jointly conduct scientific exploration, share research results, jointly cope with challenges, and achieve significant results. The scientific and corporate circles of the two countries should continue to tap cooperation and cooperate closely to promote the deep development of relations between the two countries.

The Chinese Ambassador to Greece, Xiao Junzheng, Dai Gang and Deputy Director Xu Jie, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Gao Xiang, director of the China Science and Technology Exchange Center, and Secretary -General of Greek Research and Innovation Secretariat, Kiria Jisus, attended the meeting. Representatives of the Palace Museum, Sun Yat -sen University, Jiangnan University, and Greece introduced cooperation progress at the meeting.

After the meeting, Deputy Minister Zhang Guangjun signed a cooperation document with Deputy Minister Jimas.
