Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced the second batch of provincial -level civilized tourism demonstration units, and Dongyi Town, Donggang District, Rizhao was selected.

Rizhao Dongyi Town is hailed as the closest to the sea, integrating folk culture and leisure tourism town in China.

Dongyi Town consists of four islands, namely the theme island of fishing culture, folk cultural experience islands, exotic culture islands and leisure and entertainment. Dongyi Town highlights the theme of Dongyi culture and marine culture, and integrates traditional northern traditional buildings and fishermen's folklore homes and tourism vacations.
