Notice on the prohibition of fishing and fishing in Rizhao Reservoir

Rizhao Reservoir is the main drinking water source of our city, and it is also the only water source in the city's important drinking water source list in the city. In order to effectively protect the water quality of drinking water and the safety of the people, further improve the water environment, and ensure the safety of people's drinking water, in accordance with the "Water Law of the People's Republic of China", "The People's Republic of China Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law", "The Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China" The provisions of the laws and regulations of the Republic's Public Security Management Penalty Law and the "Regulations on the Protection of Drinking Water Sources in Rizhao City" are prohibited from fishing and fishing related matters in Rizhao Reservoir as follows:

I. Rizhao Reservoir and its auxiliary facilities, water resources, fishery resources, etc. belong to the state, and are protected by national laws. No unit or individual may move or destroy the boundary geographical margin, warning signs and isolation facilities of the border of the drinking water source protection area; Any unit or individual has prohibited activities that may contaminate drinking water bodies such as fish farming, swimming, fishing, etc. in the Rizhao Reservoir without approval.

2. Rizhao Reservoir Management and Operation Center and Rizhao City Water Group Reservoir Development and Operation Co., Ltd., as the responsible subject of the daily management of Rizhao Reservoir, must conscientiously fulfill the duties of reservoir management and increase inspections. The Donggang Branch of the Rizhao Public Security Bureau, the Donggang Branch of the Rizhao Ecological and Environment Bureau, and the Ocean Development Bureau of the Donggang District of Rizhao City shall strengthen joint law enforcement, effectively perform their duties, and resolutely crack down on fishing and fishing behaviors that violate this announcement.

Third, those who violate the provisions of this notice shall be punished by the public security organs, environmental protection departments, and fishery administrative departments in accordance with the circumstances to confiscate fishing gear, fishing objects, and fines.

4. If a member of the Communist Party of China and the national public officials violate the provisions of this announcement, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, it will be treated with strictness and rushing.

5. For typical cases of fishing and fishing in violation of this announcement, it will notify its work units and expose it to the relevant media.
