On September 6, the reporter learned from the Beihai Health and Health Committee that the Chinese Society of Elderly and Senior Medical Society recently awarded the title of "Longevity City" in Beihai. Beihai has become the second national "Changshou City" in Guangxi after Hezhou.

The reporter learned from the Beihai Health Committee that at the end of 2021, 30,9927 elderly people over 60 years of age in Beihai City, accounting for 17%of the total local registered population; 6,5320 elderly people 80 and over, accounting for the total number of local population over 60 years old. 21%; the number of 100 years and above reaches 236, accounting for 1292/100,000, which is greater than 11/100,000 of the certification standards. In 2021, the average life expectancy of Beihai City was 80.30 years.

According to the "Guidelines and Methods of Longevity Township" by the Chinese Society of Elderly and Elderly Medicine, after the relevant procedures, it was determined that on August 22 this year, the Society decided to award the title of "Longevity City" in Beihai.
