At 12:52 on September 5, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture. As of now, the earthquake has killed 65 people.

After the earthquake, Sichuan Fire launched a major disaster emergency rescue plan for the first time. As of 9:30 on September 6, the fire rescue team rescued 92 people who were trapped, 937 were evacuated, 3,630 houses were investigated, and 10 wounded were transported.

The 611 fire rescue workers investigated in the direction of Luding County, Ganzi (Moxi Town, Yanzigou Town, Def wrong Town, Dewei Town, etc.) and transferred the affected people.
