Rescuers said that the elderly had not been sober for 6 consecutive days, and they were now taken to the hospital for rehabilitation treatment.

Among them, Zhang Mou, the old man in Shiwei Village, disappeared after carrying a hoe into the river beach next to the Yellow Bull Bridge of Xishan River. According to previous rescue experience, the rescue personnel believed that Zhang had a probability that it had fallen into the Xishan River, and the use of rubber boats and drones in the nearby river basin failed.

At about 12 noon on the 18th, when Zhang's family and villagers in the same village were searching along the bank of the Xishan River, Zhang Mou's clothes were accidentally found on the river bank about one kilometer upstream of the ox head bridge. After receiving the notice of the family members, the Yangchun City Kobe rescue team rushed to the scene and searched with the villagers in the nearby bushes. At 2:30 pm, the rescuers found Zhang who was paralyzed in the bushes.

"This is really a miracle of life." The rescuer introduced that Zhang was 87 years old and suspected that he had mistakenly entered the bushes due to sudden amnesia.
