Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, September 5 (Reporter Gao Wencheng) Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Kanani said on the 5th that if the United States lift sanctions against Iran, Iran can help meet European energy needs.

Kanney said at a regular press conference that Iran has rich oil and natural gas resources, and European countries are currently facing problems in energy supply. If the Iranian nuclear issue has been successfully resumed and the performance of the contract is successful and sanctions on III are canceled, Iran "can meet a large part of Europe."

He said that completely lifting sanctions against Iran is the main goal of Iran in the current negotiations. If the United States has political will and take constructive actions, it may be possible to restore the performance of the Iran nuclear agreement.

At the beginning of August this year, the EU submitted a "final text" on the restoration of the Iraqi Nuclear Agreement to resume the 2015 Iraqi Nuclear Agreement.

In July 2015, Iran reached an Iranian nuclear agreement with the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany. In May 2018, the United States unilaterally withdrew the agreement, and then restarted and added a series of sanctions on Iran. Since May 2019, Iran has gradually suspended the performance of some of the agreement, but promised to take measures "reversible". Since April 2021, the Iranian nuclear agreement has held multiple rounds of talks in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the recovery of the United States and Iraq, and the United States has involved in negotiations indirectly.
