The China Earthquake Network officially measured that at 12:52 on September 5th, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred at Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan (29.59 degrees north latitude, 102.08 degrees east longitude), with a depth of 16 kilometers.
