My friend told me that the reason why it was called "Yuelu Mountain" was because there was the Dongyue Temple in the Song Dynasty, and "Lu" refers to the forest at the foot of the mountain. There is a canal at the entrance, which is the largest branch of Luohe, which irrigates most of Lintong County.
