September 5 this year is the seventh Chinese charity day. On September 4th, our province launched the first Women's Children's Charity Week event. The event week was based on the theme of "Working hands with charity, spreading true, good and beautiful", and released a number of maternal and children's public welfare projects and activities at the launching ceremony.

Data from the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs show that as of May 2022, there are 8071 children in our province. According to reports, compared with the concentrated raising orphan and social scattered orphan, the fact that no one cares for children's support in material assistance and spiritual care, and is a group that requires the strength of all parties to provide assistance.

In order to further diversify the fact that no one cares for children, at the launching ceremony, the Provincial Civil Affairs Development Promotion Association, the Provincial Welfare Lottery Management Center, the Provincial Women's and Children Foundation, Smile Charity Foundation, Zhejiang Jiuyang Public Welfare Foundation jointly launched the " Light up the future -the predicament children's empowerment plan ". The project will provide school assistance, companion care, and health security services for no one in the province to support children, assist them in obtaining equal educational resources and opportunities, enhance their self -confidence, and promote their healthy growth.

This Public Welfare Charity Week was co -sponsored by the Provincial Civil Affairs Development Promotion Association, the Zhejiang Women's and Children Foundation, the Smile Charity Foundation, the Zhejiang Disabled Welfare Foundation, and the Hangzhou Charity Federation. At the scene, 12 public welfare organizations dedicated to women and children's charity in the province also jointly launched the "Zhejiang Caring for Women and Children and Children's Joint Public Welfare Action" and read the "Declaration of Caring for Love".

After the ceremony, a number of women and children in the province jointly carried out the "public welfare market", and the audience participated enthusiastically.
