In 1985, Wei Huade, 19, went to China from Australia with his father. In 2011, Wei Huade, who was 45 years old, had a deeper understanding of China and took the Long March to visit China's development and changes. Not long ago, 56 -year -old Wei Huade told reporters that he is now like going to the "Long March" for the third time and is willing to use his life to explore China.
Wei Huade is the Chinese name of Harold Wilton, vice president of Wilton International Group, Australia. In 1985, his father's publishing company Wilton International Group plans to cooperate with China to publish a album to commemorate the Red Army Long March. They invited photographers around the world to shoot in many places on the Long March. Young Wei Huade participated in the project.
"The Long March is the story of the Red Army, and it can also show the beautiful China from this perspective." Wei Huade said. Today, he has traveled twice and witnessed the tremendous changes in China. "I have seen China's development. China embraces the world and is more and more open."

When I took the Long March Road for the first time, Wei Huade only walked for a short period. "At that time, we only walked about 50 kilometers in total, and felt tired and hungry. It was difficult to persist. We could only rely on the car in the future." He said that the journey left a deep memory of China.
Wei Huade recalled that he was warmly welcomed by the locals for the first time. At that time, China was in the early days of reform and opening up. In some remote areas in the west, there were not many foreigners seen. "They are very friendly," Wei Huade said, "We all the way, especially in the villages, feel people's simple enthusiasm."
Wei Huade and his companions appreciate the magnificent mountains and rivers of China along the way, visit the settlements of ethnic minorities, and understand the unique culture of the local area. He said that the album named "China -Long March" allowed the world to see the colorful and beautiful scenery of China.
He also showed reporters that he wrote several diarys on the road -the yellow yellow page was posted on the yellow pages, and the story of the Long March Road was recorded with a pen next to him. One of them was posted with a "Red Well" photo, and the sip of the well in Shazhouba was dug by the Mao Zedong and the Red Army soldiers at that time.
In 2011, Wei Huade wanted to make a book album to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Red Army and explore the development and changes in the region along the Long March. Therefore, he took the Long March Road for the second time and named the subsequent albums published in "China -New Long March".
"That's the second time I took the Long March, and we still need that spirit to support everyone to continue, that is, the spirit of never giving up." He said.
Wei Huade has worked in the cultural publishing industry for decades. In recent years, many Australian people have become more and more interested in Chinese culture. For example, some readers like books about Chinese philosophy. "China has five thousand years of civilization, and Chinese culture has strong vitality," he said.
Wei Huade quoted the ancient Chinese stories, "The trip to thousands of miles began under the foot." He said that he would do his best to contribute to the cultural bridge between the two countries and the enhancement of exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
"In April 1985, I went to China for the first time, and I started a journey. Now, I am still on this journey," he said. "I explore China's" Long March "will not end."
