Hong Kong's first, unveiled!Help youth understand history!

On September 3, the Hong Kong Shatoujiao Anti -Japanese War Museum was held in Shatoujiao, New Territories. The museum is the first Anti -Japanese War Museum in Hong Kong and will be officially opened to the public as the patriotic education base.

The Hong Kong Shatoujiao Anti -Japanese War Museum was converted from the History Architecture Luojia House. The exhibition introduced the history of the Anti -Japanese War of the HK Kukang Brigade of the Dongjiang Column and the moving deeds of the Roche family of the "Hong Kong Anti -Japanese Family".

Li Jiachao, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, said at the unveiling ceremony that the SAR government attaches importance to the history of commemorating the victory of the Anti -Japanese War and allows the public to understand the role and deeds of the Hong Kong people during the Anti -Japanese War. The construction process of the Hong Kong Shatoujiao Anti -Japanese War Museum fully reflects the importance of government and civil cooperation. It is hoped that it will write a new chapter for Hong Kong's patriotic education and national education.

Huang Junkang, director of the Hong Kong Shatoujiao Anti -Japanese War Museum, said that the Memorial Hall will actively promote Hong Kong citizens, especially young people to understand their own country, clearly understand the past history, and jointly guard and build Hong Kong.

It is understood that except for public holidays and Monday Return, the Memorial Hall is open to the public every Tuesday to Sunday. The public needs to make online appointments, and currently only accept group appointments.
