In recent years, Huadu District has vigorously launched more than 400 theme activities such as "World Wetland Day", "Bird Love Week", "Our Bird Neighbors", "Wildlife Protection Month", which has greatly enhanced the citizens to care for wetland and protect wetland. A good atmosphere effectively achieved the sustainable development of Huadu Lake National Wetland Park.

Due to local conditions, Huadu builds several small islands and three bird habitats in the lake, creating a large open shallow water area for traveling for poultry for food and habitat.
