Recently, Baihetan-Zhejiang ± 800 kV high-voltage DC transmission project was launched in Zhejiang section. The first stage of the project is expected to be put into operation in late November.

It is reported that the project is a key project of "Western Power East", which starts with the Baihetan Hydropower Station on the dry flow section of the Jinsha River. The total length of the line is 2140.2 kilometers, and the transmission capacity is 8 million kilowatts.
