The world's first desert railway ring line runs through the "Holding" Taklama Gan Desert

At this point, the southern ring of the Taklama -Ganan Desert Railway is formally formed, which is also the world's first desert railway ring line.

The southern edge of the world's second largest migrant desert -the Taklama Gan Desert along the east to the west of the railway, 534 kilometers, is distributed in the wind sand segment, accounting for 65%of the line length, and the harm of wind sand to the construction and operation of the railway is very serious.

The railway has 534 kilometers distributed in the wind sand area. The engineering construction party adopts the construction of sand bridges and planting windproof sand and other methods to form a green barrier for sand protection roads. And Ruo Railway and the existing Gaku Railway and the South Xinjiang Railway together form a 2712 kilometer ring railway, "surrounding" the Taklamagan Desert. Its opening marks the formation of the world's first desert railway.
