In its reconstruction of the refrigeration drawing drawings, a ocean fishing boat plans to cancel the No. 3 refrigerated compression unit in the refrigerated fish library refrigeration system, and add two refrigeration compression units. The two units are used in parallel with the original two units, forming a new refrigeration compression system and using the original refrigerant R22.
After careful inspection of relevant drawing materials, the author believes that the two new refrigeration compression units cannot use the original refrigerant R22 with the original unit.
The "Legal Inspection Technical Rules of Ocean Fishing Boats" (2019) Chapter 15: The following requirements are as follows:
"In the following circumstances, the use of hydrogenated chloride hydrocarbons should be prohibited:
1. Fishing vessels built on January 1, 2020; or
2. For the fishing boats built before January 1, 2020, the date of the device contract delivery ship is on January 1, 2020, or the date of delivery of no contract. after. "
R22 is a diofluorocyrosis, which is abbreviated as HCFC-22, and the chemical formula is CHCLF2. It belongs to hydrogenated chloride hydrocarbons refrigerant. It can produce greenhouse effects on the high-altitude ozone layer. Before January 1, 2020, it was used as a transitional refrigerant. Fishing vessels built on January 1, 2020 shall use environmentally friendly refrigerants such as R134A, R404A, R507A, R407C, etc.
The new refrigeration compression unit in this case is the device delivered to the ship after January 1, 2020, and the original refrigerant R22 cannot be continued.
Handling measures
After clarifying the refrigerant requirements of the refrigeration unit, the following two solutions are provided for the shipowner:
1. Add two refrigeration units to use environmentally friendly refrigerants. The original two refrigerated compression units used R22 refrigerant. The system is separated and operated independently.
2. Four refrigeration compression units to form a single refrigeration system in parallel, using environmentally friendly refrigerants. The design pressure of the original system is determined according to the table according to the new refrigerant.
Precautions

Diesel engine replacement/new precautions
Similar to the situation as the refrigeration compression unit, the problem of replacement or new shipping diesel engines involving NOX and other emission standards often occur. The author has encountered the following problems:
A domestic offshore voyage box ship, its main power supply is three of the same power (1760kW) diesel generator set. The NOX emissions standards in the three units are all level I. Later during the operation, the diesel engine piston tank in the No. 2 generator set occurred, and the unit was severely damaged. Because it is unable to purchase the same generator crew, the shipowner decided to use the same power to replace the unit. The NOX emission standard of the new unit No. 2 diesel engine is level II. As the service time is extended, the original No. 1/3 -3 generator diesel engine often fails. In order to ensure the safety of sailing, the shipowner consulted the generator crew for replacement in the past two years. After inspecting relevant drawings information, the author found that in the "Legal Inspection Technical Rules of the Domestic Sailing Sea" (2020), the diesel engine in the alternative to the generator set belongs to the second type of diesel engine. The shipowner cannot use the original unit 2 replacement scheme, that is, replacing the diesel engine to meet the II emissions standard, but in accordance with the requirements of the regulations. And measurement method (China First and Second Stages) "(GB 15097-2016) first-stage emission standards; the second phase emission standards must be met on July 1, 2022 or after the GB 15097-2016.
When replacing/new diesel engine, you need to pay attention to the following points:
1. International navigation sea boat/ocean fishing boat
(1) Diesel engine (greater than 130kW) is replaced by exactly the same diesel engine or newly installed diesel engine, and the emission standards for replacement or newly added should be met. On January 1, 2000 or after January 1, 2011, meet the II emission standards; meet the II emission standards on January 1, 2011 or later; Sea NOX emission control zone, January 1, 2021 or after the Baltic or North Sea NOX emissions control zone must meet the III -level emission standards.
(2) For only alternative diesel engines, if the III -level emission standard cannot be met, the II emission standard should be met if the III -level emission standard is the same power. For detailed requirements, see MEPC.230 (65) resolution. 2. Chinese domestic navigation sea ship
The "Legal Inspection Technical Rules of Domestic Sailing Sea Marine" (2020) divided the diesel engines on the domestic navigation ships into 4 categories.
Category 1 diesel engine is the rated power ≥ 37kW and a single cylinder displacement of <5L.
Category 2 diesel engine is a single -cylinder displacement ≥5L and <30L.
Category 3 diesel engine is a single -cylinder displacement ≥ 30L.
The last category is the rated power <37kW.
(1) Category 1 diesel engine and class 2 diesel engine pollutants are NOX, CO, HC, PM. When being replaced by non -exactly the same diesel engine or newly installed diesel engine, the replacement or new units need to meet the "Limits and Measurement Methods of the Planted Pollution Pollutant and Measurement Method (China First and Two)" before July 1, 2022 " (GB 15097-2016) The first phase of emission standards; the second phase emission standard of GB 15097-2016 is required on July 1, 2022.
(2) Category 3 diesel engine emissions pollutants are NOX.
