Taiwan ’s average rainfall this summer is also the second youngest in history. The meteorological department stated that the average rainfall day this summer was only 15.9 days, including measuring stations including Yilan, Hualien, Penghu and other places.

In previous years, typhoons were an important source of rainwater in Taiwan in summer, but 9 typhoons have been generated since June this year, which is less than the average climate. Taiwan has not released a typhoon alert so far, breaking the record of the "South Repair" typhoon in 2010.
