Beijing -Hebei signed a new round of ecological compensation agreement upstream of Miyun Reservoir

On the 30th, Beijing and Hebei Province signed a new round of five years of the five -year Miyun Reservoir upstream Chaobai River Basin's water source conservation area of the horizontal ecological protection compensation agreement.The ecological compensation mechanism, based on the three cross -border rivers of the original Chaohe, Baihe, and Qingshui River, increase the monitoring of Heihe and Tanghe, and achieve regular monitoring of five major rivers, hydrology, and water quality data.

At the same time, the two sides will work together to implement the protection of water sources in the entire basin. Beijing Miyun, Yanqing, Huairou, and Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, and Chengde, two cities, and five counties.(Source: People's Daily)
