This etching print was published by Richard Harleyton, published in 1816, "Cambridge University King College Landscape", and was carved into prints by Robert Harville.
The painting details the decoration and structure of the worship of the King's College, including huge colorful glass windows, magnificent fan -shaped vaults, and those complex and delicate decorative patterns.
The King's Academy is one of the most representative Gothic buildings in the UK and the largest fan -shaped vault building in the world.In 1446, the then King of England Henry VI personally ordered the construction of the chapel. It was not until 1515 that it took nearly 70 years, and the main building of the chapel was completed.
Today, this chapel is still standing on the Cambridge River.Every year, large -scale events such as the King's Academy concert and other activities are held here. Tourists from all over the world have regarded this chapel as a must -visit attraction.
