"Food Safety Popular Science Publicity Outline (Revised Edition)" releases the scope of the original application

On August 29, the home event of the National Food Safety Publicity Week in 2022 was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the "Food Safety Popular Science Publicity Outline (Revised Edition)" was officially released.

According to Sun Baoguo, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the president of Beijing University of Technology and Commerce, the newly revised "Food Safety Popular Science Publicity Outline" ("Outline") consists of 3 parts. In the purpose and scope of applications, the purpose of the Outline has been revised, emphasizing the need to enhance the high quality supply capacity of food safety science, and eventually enhance the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security. The original scope of the "Outline" was expanded, and "various types of food -related education, scientific research and inspection institutions" and "food production and operators" were added.

The newly revised "Outline" systematically combed and upgraded in the guidance principle. Food safety science should adhere to science, normality, effectiveness and synergy.

In the science popularization content and requirements, the requirements of the science and technology, industry, and government supervision are integrated into the requirements for the improvement of consumers' scientific quality.

In the first part, "Food -related fraud, food allergies and food intolerance, infant formula food and auxiliary food, special medical use formula food, sports nutrition food, food -related products" and other content. The focus is on improving the level of food safety and science cognition. Focus on strengthening popular science (such as "nitrite", "poisonous mushrooms", etc.) that cause typical cases such as personal injury and other typical cases; Control measures to promote the whole society to establish a good public health concept and behavior habits.

The second part, around the overall situation of the party and the country, emphasizes that through the establishment of a "big food concept", we can enrich food types in all aspects. Let the food production operators understand the relevant food safety knowledge in the entire industrial chain of "from farmland to the dining table", and enhance the industry's ability to prevent and control food safety risks. The five main points of food safety that advocate the public to follow the World Health Organization should pay attention to self -protection when contacting imported cold chain foods.

In the third part, integrate the content of "food safety standards" into this chapter. Let the public establish confidence in my country's food safety by understanding the basic status of food safety in my country, relevant laws and regulations and other knowledge. Knowing that the national standard of food safety is a compulsory standard, understand the relationship between the national standards of food safety and other standards (such as the bids, group standards, landmarks, and enterprise standards), and identify the cognitive misunderstanding of food safety standards.

It is reported that the Office of the Food Safety Committee of the Chinese Science and Technology Association and the State Council officially launched the revision of the "Food Safety Popular Science Publicity Outline" in August last year. Teams of experts, including technology workers, have completed the revision after one year.
