Since May, the average rainfall of the province has been less than 70 % of the same period for many years. At the same time, a large -scale, continuous high temperature and hot weather has appeared in the province. The people's living water has a greater impact.

On the same day, the Provincial Department of Water Conservancy issued a notice, requiring to stand at the height of ensuring the safety of national food, actively act, conduct effort, take effective measures, and vigorously promote the work of drought -protection and summer. Water administrative departments and water conservancy engineering management units at all levels should organize and dispatch irrigation water sources, increase yellowing, and support water conservancy support for drought irrigation. Water sources and water supply equipment should be investigated to ensure good operation.

Now it is the suitable broadcast period of autumn grain crops, but due to the early drought, it has been continuously high -temperature and rainy in the near future. In order to serve the autumn crops in the irrigation area, the Luhun Reservoir has opened the gate at 9 o'clock on June 15th. 15-35 cubic meters per second, more than 300,000 acres of farmland in the irrigation area are moist.

"We are paying close attention to the development and changes of the current drought, promptly conduct business research and judgment, analyze the development trend of drought, and release early warning information in a timely manner." Feng Linsong, director of the Water Disaster Defense Division of the Provincial Water Resources Department, said that the drought data information daily system will be implemented from now on. Before 10:00 am, the provinces and municipalities and Jiyuan Demonstration Zone reported to the drought data of the region through the second phase of the flood control drought resistance command.

According to Feng Linsong, in order to ensure the safety of urban and rural residents, our province will investigate the difficulty of drinking water, and organize water supply and water to send water in a timely manner to ensure the basic living water needs of the people. Early emergency water supply plans in the water shortage areas, and when necessary, emergency measures such as spare water sources, open new water sources, and water transfer across regions to ensure water supply safety.
