It is understood that in June of this year, the Guangdong Greening Committee and the Guangdong Forestry Bureau jointly launched the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Ancient Tree Group in Guangdong" selection activities. The ancient tree group participated in the selection. Experts selected 33 ancient tree groups from the dimensions of ecological values ​​and landscape value to enter the online voting session. A total of 2 ancient tree groups in Shenzhen were shortlisted for primary elections.

The ancient trees that were shortlisted this time include rare protective tree species such as ginkgo, yew, grid wood, and Minnan.
