"Food Materia Medica" is based on the national library's collection of ancient books "Food Materia Medica" adapted from the ancient book of the Ming Dynasty. The book uses 24 soil as a clue, with 5 seasonal foods in each solar terms, a total of 120 kinds of animals and plants.

The original "Food Materia Medica" was the period of the Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty. According to the medical book of "Food Materia Medica" edited by the "Food Materia Medica" by the court painter Lu He, it was hand -made with Chinese regular script calligraphy and gongbi painting. Essence The whole book is divided into 8 categories of water, valley, vegetables, fruits, poultry, beasts, fish, and taste. It detailed its sexual taste, effect, non -toxicity, treatment of diseases, usage, and taboos. It reflects the life concept of the ancient Chinese people's "maintenance and food and medicine homologous".

The design of "Food Materia Medica" is a new attempt in the cultural and creative field. The book uses lock line binding, vertical typesetting, hand painting and text, and the text such as "ancient and modern grass characteristics, solar terms kitchen food, waiting poetry and heart" and other theme content.

For example, Xia Bing wrote a section of "Xia Bing, sweet, cold, non -toxic. Remove heat and annoyance. The summer moon food is the opposite of the climate. Take the cold ears of their qi. Although the "original appreciation" page in the book has passed hundreds of years, the plant painting paintings are still bright and realistic.

Another creative point comes from the border field. Each page of the book can be torn off and signed. On the sidebar, 72 chanting poems were selected, corresponding to seventy -two, as a supplement to the twenty -four solar terms. When all the edges are torn off, picking off the cover of the coat becomes a common specification and exquisitely decorative book.

This book was jointly produced by the Beijing Publishing Group's Beijing version of the Beijing version of the Beijing version of Ruoqing and the National Library Guotu Innovation.
