The closing meeting of the Tenth Review Conference of the Treaty of Non -diffused Nuclear Weapons was originally planned to be held at 15:00 on the same day. 4 hours later, the chairman of the conference, Gulbavo Zravinin, announced that the substantive results documents were unable to pass because a member state had objections to the draft.

Earlier reports said that Russia opposed the draft because the results documents were written into the related content of the Ukraine conflict. The tenth review conference document of the Treaty of the Non -diffused Nuclear weapons requires 191 member states to reach a consensus to pass.

Li Song, the ambassador of the Chinese disarmament, said in his speech that the Chinese delegation had a deep regret for the final document that the conference was finally failed to reach the final document, and the Chinese side agreed with the relevant arrangements of the subsequent review process proposed by the chairman of the conference.

Li Song said that today's situation proves that the mechanism of NPT (the "Treaty of the Non -diffused Nuclear Weapons") is not running in a vacuum. Although the review conference failed to reach the final document, since the surrounding, the concepts, positions and demands of all parties have been constantly colliding and seeking consensus in complex contradictions and differences. It is of great significance to respond to the severe challenge facing the international nuclear non -diffusion system.
