After the fire in the ethylene glycol device area of Shanghai Petrochemical and Chemical Engineering, after the fire occurred at around 4 am on June 18, the relevant municipal and district departments immediately launched an emergency plan and organized rescue forces to rush to the scene for rescue. At present, the Municipal Emergency Administration has set up an accident investigation team with relevant departments to conduct investigations in accordance with laws and regulations. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
