In the face of the dilemma, Li Sheng still worked hard, raised funds from many parties, and recruited talents everywhere. At that time, he seemed to be the norm, and the people around him never stopped. This way is 14 years.

Why persist? Li Sheng said that flood prevention and drought resistance are a matter of national interests and social stability. He is honored to be able to fight for such a career. With the development of science and technology, he believes that the technical problems in research and development will no longer be a problem.

Fortunately, Li Sheng's persistence was rewarded.

In September 2014, the "Guizhou" big data business model contest was launched. After 7 months of fierce competition, Li Sheng led the company's "Oriental Xiangyun" platform to stand out from 8615 participating projects around the world to win the highest prize of the competition - - "Cloud Award".

According to reports, "Oriental Xiangyun" and its series of products have changed the flood prevention and drought resistance work from passive response to active early warning, complete the full coverage of the "one picture" of flood conditions monitoring and early warning, and can achieve more than 6.7 million computing sections of the country in 2 minutes and 20 seconds. The age of flood forecast has become the fastest global flood forecast system of independent and controllable global floods, and has won valuable time for the country's flood prevention and rescue disaster relief work.

It is understood that "Oriental Xiangyun" can warn the small and medium -sized watershed in 1 to 4 hours in advance, greatly reducing personnel casualties and economic losses. In 2018, it helped Guizhou Province to successfully respond to 11 heavy rain and floods including the floods of June and 19th, helping to transfer 16,300 people in advance. In the same year, Li Sheng's team began to provide technical services for 31 provinces (cities, autonomous regions), 205 cities (states, prefectures), and 1630 counties (districts, cities) in the national emergency management department.

In 2019, according to the task arrangements of the Emergency Management Department, the company completed the R & D task that needed a two -year research and development cycle in only 40 days, and successfully developed the national flood control and drought -resistant analysis system. Data show that in 2020, in the face of flood disasters, only the flood prevention and drought resistance analysis system platform provided more than 690,000 flood warnings, which played an important role in protecting people's lives and property security. In June of the same year, the platform predicted that the railway railway railway tracks connected to Guizhou and Sichuan provinces were drowned 10 hours in advance. The Chengdu Railway Bureau quickly took preventive measures to minimize the damage to the railway transportation of the flood.
