Hangzhou pension caregiver professional skills competition, half of the contestants are "post -90s"

A few days ago, in 2022, the professional skills competition of Hangzhou pension caregivers ended successfully. Wu Yahui, from the Third Social Welfare Institute in Hangzhou, ranked first, Zhang Wenli from the Third Social Welfare Institute in Hangzhou and Cheng Xiaoli from the Hangzhou Social Welfare Center won two or three.

A total of 13 teams and 65 nurses participated in this competition. Many nurses said that this competition is not only a professional assessment, but also a platform for learning and promotion.

Compared with previous years, this year's contestants are younger. The "post -90s" became the main force, with a total of 32, accounting for 50%, and 2 "post -00s". The youngest nursing workers were only 21 years old.

Four male caregivers also appeared at the competition. Chen Huabin, born in 1999, is a male caregiver at the Hangzhou Social Welfare Center. This time, he participated in the competition for the first time. He said that more and more men have chosen to join the pension caregiver. "Compared to female caregivers, we will have a certain advantage in physical strength. Some grandpa is more accustomed to serving the same sex."

As of the end of last year, Hangzhou had a 60 -year -old resident who had a population of over 1.9 million households. The number of elderly people in the number of elderly caregivers is increasing, and the requirements for the quality of service personnel are getting higher and higher. Hangzhou has included "the number of elderly people per 10,000 elderly people holding the elderly caregiver" into the important indicator of the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" plan for economic and social development.
