On July 16, 2021, the Beijing Municipal Meteorological Service Center jointly released the Beijing "Mosquito Bite Index" for the first time. From June 1st to September 30th each year, at about 11 o'clock every day, the "Mosquito Bite Index" forecast of the next three days will be released.
The "Mosquito Bite Index" divides the risk of mosquito bite Beijing into five levels: low, low, medium, higher, and high levels, and put forward targeted protection proposals. It will play a positive role in preventing and controlling mosquito media infectious diseases and preventing citizens from harassing and biting mosquitoes, and improving the quality of life and health of citizens.
According to Meteorological Beijing, on August 26, the average mosquito bites index in Beijing was four levels, and the risk of being bitten was higher. For a long time outdoors, it is recommended to choose long -sleeved trousers or use mosquito repellent products. At the same time, pay attention to check the surrounding environment of the home, and remove the stagnant water to prevent mosquitoes from giving birth.
