From August 23rd to 25th, the first meteorological research camp in Hubei, Dahongshan Meteorological Research Camp, "started courses" in the Dahongshan Scenic Spot. The classroom enriches meteorological knowledge, feels "changes in the clouds" at zero distance, explores the secrets of "watching the clouds", and carries out the research activities of meteorological science.

Research activities are divided into three links: classroom lecture, experimental operation and outdoor experience. In the classroom, the research teacher combined the characteristics of the geographical climate of Dahongshan to interact with the students in a relaxed and lively way to explain the knowledge of meteorological elements, weather phenomena, meteorological disasters, and disaster prevention and hedging. In the experimental session, the study teacher led everyone to perform a group of dry ice cloud experiments, artificial rainbow, Madeburg hemisphere and glass experiments to further understand the effects of weather elements such as temperature, air pressure, rainfall, and wind on daily life. Outside the classroom, the students came to Dahongshan Xiaoquan Cave, the two king caves, Nanfengyu, Baozhutufeng and other scenic spots to conduct a "immersive" meteorological observation experience. It is reported that the meteorological research camp is a research product integrating "meteorological+cultural tourism". In May of this year, the Municipal Meteorological Bureau, the Wuhan Rainstorm Research Institute of the China Meteorological Administration, the Hubei Cultural Tourism Suizhou Group and the Dahongshan Management Committee jointly jointly unveiled the Dahongshan base of the Dahong Mountain Base in the Middle Restaurant of the Yangtze River in the Yangtze River. As of now, the meteorological department has invested nearly 10 million yuan in Dahongshan, and has built an international advanced meteorological observation facilities such as border windline radar, microwave radiation scheme, and laser raindrops. In mid -August, Dahongshan Meteorological Research Base was formally completed.

In the next step, Dahongshan will combine the "Viewing Cloud Meteorological Culture" to continuously optimize the meteorological research course, create high -quality research products, provide a higher quality science learning platform for the majority of primary and secondary school students, and make every effort to create Hubei's first weather -based meteorological features.
