At noon on August 25, the official Weibo of Lijiang Yulong Snow Mountain Provincial Tourism and Development Zone Management Committee issued a notification to confirm the accidental incident of lightning injury.

While we feel sorry for this newcomer, we may need to understand the common sense of lightning and increase the awareness of the prevention and self -protection in the wild.

First of all, lightning is a phenomenon of frequent high incidence of global incidence. About 50,000 thunderstorms occur on the earth every day. On average, there are about 4,000 lightning and lightning per second. Among them, about 100 times formed lightning strikes, that is, thunder.

First of all, in the outdoor, do not stand in a very empty area, because it may form the highest point of the local area, and the highest point is easy to form lightning strikes.

Secondly, do not approach only one tree, one shed or a hut on the mountain. Avoiding rain or rain under the tree in this house may be at the commanding heights and become the target of lightning strikes.

In addition, pay attention to lightning warning information at any time. Most of the summer rainstorms in our country occur in the afternoon and evening, so you should choose to start in the morning as much as possible, arrive at noon, and then hurry down the mountain. Do not wait until the afternoon and evening reaching the top of the mountain. At this time, it is easy to occur and lightning.

There is also a tips -learn to estimate the scope of lightning. If you can hear thunder, then the scope of lightning at this time is within 10 kilometers. Therefore, as long as the thunder is heard, the thunderstorm cloud is about 1 km to 10 kilometers above the head. At this time, you need to quickly avoid it, because the lightning is very close.
