Connect Jiangsu Zhejiang!New high -speed railway is approved!

Recently, the feasibility study report from Xinjian Nantong to Ningbo High -speed Railway has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.

Nantong to Ningbo high -speed railway line is located in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province. The line starts from Yancheng to Nantong Railway Nantong West Station, via Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province and Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, and Ningbo City. The total length of this high -speed rail line is about 309.8 kilometers, of which the new line is 300.7 kilometers. 10 stations such as Haiyan, Cixi, and Zhuangqiao, including Nantong West, Zhangjiagang, Suzhou North, Jiaxing South, and Zhuangqiao as existing stations; 1 new crossing of Hangzhou Bay Two -Line Railway Bridge, with a design length of 29.2 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After completion, it will become the world's longest high -speed railway cross -sea bridge. Nantong to Ningbo high -speed railway is an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high -speed railway network. After the completion of the railway, the shortcomings of the regional road network will be filled, and the layout of the high -speed railway network in the Yangtze River Delta region will be optimized. The rapid connection between the Su Xichang area and the Hangzhou metropolitan area and the southeast coastal areas. Regional innovation capabilities and competitiveness, improvement of economic agglomeration and regional connection are positive.
