The effective use of carbon dioxide provides powerful technical support for the green and low -carbon development of the oilfield.

Four months ago, Xia 92_h well was a "lying" well, and it could not produce crude oil. Now it "transforms" has become one of the representative wells for "death" after implementing carbon dioxide throughput technology. Through the application of this technology, more "lying" wells in Xinjiang Oilfield not only resurrected, but also achieved carbon dioxide geology.

In recent years, Xinjiang Oilfield has been based on resource endowment and location advantages, and has continuously accelerated the implementation of CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and sealing) work deployment to achieve significant results.

In June of this year, the oilfield set up 5 work classes including geological engineering, and plans to carry out 24 CCUS related work throughout the year. At present, 9 tasks have been completed on time, and the overall work completion rate has reached 61%. At the same time, in order to complete the annual carbon injection target, 10 places in the northwest, abdomen and eastern of the Junggar Basin were selected for on -site tests. As of now, 6 oil collection has been bet, with a total of 44,300 tons of carbon injection.

According to estimates, the Junggar Basin is suitable for the development of CCUS's development oil, which can be buried nearly 400 million tons of carbon dioxide, and has the potential to bury the carbon dioxide salt water layer of more than 500 million tons.

Since 2007, Xinjiang Oilfield relies on major and major development tests such as Petroleum Corporation and other major development trials to continue research on indoor evaluation, collection engineering, injection technology, and ground gathers. More than ten key technologies such as high -gas liquid ratio, carbon dioxide capture and cycle utilization with gas liquid.

Since 2015, Xinjiang Oilfield preferably 65 different types of oil collections have conducted on -site tests such as carbon dioxide drive, carbon dioxide anterior increase in cracking, carbon dioxide throughput, etc., and accumulated more than 380,000 tons of carbon dioxide. Buried about 300,000 tons of carbon dioxide, achieved good production effects, carbon capture, use and sealing demonstration effect is obvious and potential. "CCUS Xinjiang Mode" gradually formed.

In 2019, the CCUS project of Xinjiang Oilfield Basin was selected by the Oil and Gas Industry Climate Initiative (OGCI) as one of the world's first batch of five CCUS industry promotion centers, and it was also the only center in China to get this title.

Xinjiang Oilfield focuses on the goal of "double carbon", actively implement and implement three steps for the "clean alternative, strategic replacement, and green transformation" of PetroChina. Realize the goals of 10 million tons/year -old oil -driven oil, 10 million tons/year saltwater layer, and the construction of the carbon dioxide pipes in the basin, build the standard of low -carbon safe and efficient energy system for the standard of the Junggar Basin, solve the transformation and upgrading of the industry and energy guarantee The contradiction between economic development and the construction of ecological environment has made new contributions to promoting the "double carbon" goal.
