Respecting her mother's last wishes, Jiang Guilan's daughter donated her body to Wuhan Red Cross Tongji Medical College, and the cornea was donated to Wuhan Red Cross Eye Eye Library.

The elderly Jiang Guilan was born in 1942. After graduating at the age of 20, he obeyed his family allocated to work in Wuhan to work. At the age of twenty -nine, Jiang Guilan's husband died of illness, and since then she pulled two daughters to grow up. Due to the accumulation of hard work when he was young, Jiang Guilan suffered from kidney tuberculosis and had to remove a kidney. Later, she suffered from diabetes, and she kept controlling her diet. After that, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis and other diseases followed, but she has always been very strong and actively fights with the disease.

Due to physical reasons, Jiang Guilan retired at the age of 50. After retirement, she insisted on reading and reading newspapers to care about current affairs. She often said that a person can't always think of herself, and it is very happy to help others.

A long time ago, Jiang Guilan showed the idea of ​​donating remains and corneal after his death. Two years ago, because of falling at home, Jiang Guilan's brain bleeding was hospitalized, so she explained that her daughter went through the volunteer procedures for her body donation.

On August 17 this year, Jiang Guilan died of illness. Before dying, she did not forget to pay her daughter to help her complete her donation. Respecting her mother's last wish, Jiang Guilan's daughter donated her mother's body to Wuhan Red Cross Medical College, and the cornea was donated to Wuhan Red Cross El Eye Library. After preliminary assessment, Jiang Guilan's corneal quality meets clinical transplantation conditions, and at least it can help two corneal blind patients see the light.

On August 22, in the integrated operating room of Er Eye Hospital affiliated to Wuhan University, Wu Shangcong, deputy chief physician of the corneal and corneal specialist, transplanted Jiang Guilan's cornea into the eyes of a 45 -year -old corneal perforation. It is understood that Jiang Guilan's cornea will also help another conical corneal patient.
