Li Hongyan was from Jiangsu. In 1988, he came to Wei Li County, where the desert was surrounded by a rich water grass area. During the period, he left repeatedly and returned. In the end, Li Hongyan decided to stay in Cotton County, Weili County in 1995. The location was selected in Tarim Township, Weili County.

"The locals are growing cotton, and cotton is so alive." Li Hongyan calculated that keeping the river can always let cotton drink full water.

What he didn't know was that when he was working in the new land, the Tarim River was worrying.

Since the 1950s, due to the impact of climate change and people's disorderly development and inefficient use of water resources, the amount of water flow to dry flow to dry flow has decreased year by year, and the Tarim River has continued to "retreat" upstream.

In this regard, the most intuitive feeling of the locals is that it is difficult to take water.

If you can't remember the accurate years, Li Hongyan only remembers four or five years. When the cotton field needs water, the Weiqian River is water and air. It was finally time to wait until the rich water period, and the water came slowly, sometimes in July, affecting cotton growth.

In order to ensure that Miantian and herself used water, Li Hongyan had a good blow. At the beginning, groundwater can not only be used in the field, but also can drink it yourself. Later, as the tower river decreased, the groundwater level continued to decrease, and the mineralization continued to rise, and the water of this well became more and more salty.

"People can't drink it at all, they can only use it for the ground." Li Hongyan said.

The people in the surrounding fields couldn't stand it, and leaving became the most realistic choice. "I wrapped their ground, I don't want to go." Li Hongyan would explain to her years of hard work.

When Li Hongyan was busy looking for water for Miantian, how to reasonably allocate water resources and scientific water use in front of the relevant institutions. In 2000, the state announced the comprehensive governance project of the Tarim River. In 2016, the Tarim River Basin fully implemented the most stringent water resource management system, giving full play to the regulation of water resources allocation projects, focusing on water -saving, and improving irrigation guarantee rates through scientific scientific scheduling.

After the implementation of a series of measures, Li Hongyan felt a significant change. "River water is sufficient, and water water is guaranteed." Li Hongyan said that during the irrigation period, relevant staff will ask the planting area and water to use water. Li Hongyan feels that this method of watering the water according to the actual planting situation is very effective for solving farmland water, coupled with the local promotional water -saving planting model. The seedlings are no longer afraid of "thirst".
