Villagers in Wuling Village, Damu Township, Fuling District, at an altitude of more than 1500 meters have difficulty drinking water. The local government organized a water truck to deliver water daily, and temporarily built a water storage tank for easy picking.

At present, the local government has delivered more than 420 vehicles and 8,600 tons for Wuling Village, Yingxin Community, and Xuanwang Village.

The technical personnel of the Vegetable Industry Development Center of Lixi County, Hubei Province, instructed the masses to grab planting early autumn vegetables. In order to cope with arid weather, technicians also guided vegetable farmers to irrigate and adopt measures such as straw coverage, shading nets, and other measures to reduce direct sunlight, reduce water evaporation, and moisturize.
