Just now, the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Administration issued a notice from Shanghai Petrochemical Fire--
After the fire in the ethylene glycol device area of Shanghai Petrochemical and Chemical Engineering, after the fire occurred at around 4 am on June 18, the relevant Shanghai and district departments immediately launched an emergency plan and organized rescue forces to rush to the scene for rescue.
Up to now, on -site disposal is undergoing orderly, and the storage of the pipelines are underwritten and are under protection and the safety risks are controllable.
The accident caused 1 person to die and 1 person was injured.Monitoring data of the ecological environment departments in Shanghai and district showed that the quality of air has basically returned to normal; on -site sewage and rainwater pipelines have been closed, and no water body pollution is found in the surrounding river channels.
At present, the Shanghai Emergency Administration has set up an accident investigation team with relevant departments to conduct investigations in accordance with laws and regulations. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Shanghai Petrochemical stated that it will cooperate with the government authorities to make every effort to promote the investigation of the accident.Related devices will not have a significant impact on the market.
