On August 19, the reporter learned at the Yinshan Protection Station of the Da Yaoshan National Nature Reserve in Guangxi that Haiming Guan Mutong grew up in Jinxiu Yinshan Park. Subsequent investigations found that this new plant species is only distributed in Jinxiu and is evaluated as endangered species. It has high medicinal research and utilization value.

According to Huang Yulong, Heming Guan Mutong named after Tan Haiming, former deputy director of the Management Center of the Da Yaoshan National Nature Reserve in Guangxi, because he is the first discovery of the flowering plant of the species, and he has worked in the Da Yaoshan area. In 42 years, the first discoverer of the plant living fossil silver fir in the Jinxiu area.
